Disney Princess Style Inspiration + Funday Monday Link Up

I guest posted over at Cathy's blog a couple of weeks ago and thought I'd share the post here!

I've always loved Disney princesses. And although we can't wear fancy ball gowns everyday (although a couple of designers are auctioning a few Disney Princess inspired gowns - which I posted about HERE), here are 4 Disney princess inspired looks (:

Dress: Dorothy Perkins // Heels: Nelly // Clutch - River Island // Earrings - Truffle Shuffle //
Bracelets - Target // Hairband - Target

Cinderella is the belle of the ball. Although there is no fancy ballgown this time, a simple baby blue dress will do just fine. Pair it with crystal 'glass' heels and pearl accessories and you'll be ready for the ball (:

Cardigan: The Hut // Skirt: Zalando // Lace crop top: Miss Selfridge // Flats: Keds // Hairband: Zara //
Bag: Forever 21 // Necklace - Humble Chic

A bit more casual than the Cinderella one. Colour-blocking is the key here and as Snow White wears red, blue and yellow in that iconic dress of hers, those are the main colours! A black bag to match her black hair and of course, she wouldn't be completed with her red bow (: This look is perfect for a date, picnic or just a fun day out.

Playsuit: River Island //  Bag: DSW // Necklace: Scoop NYC // Sandals: Accessorize //
Bracelet: Luisaviaroma.com

To me, Pocahontas is very bohemian. Her looks incorporates lots of neutral colours with a hint of turquoise. I chose a embroidered playsuit for her as a symbol of her carefree personality and to give a tribal touch. Add embellished sandals, simple pieces of jewellery and a fringe suede bag and you'll be ready to go to a music festival or to the beach pocahontas-style. Definitely a summer look.

Bralet: H&M // Skirt: New Look // Earrings: Debenhams // Clutch: Sergio Rossi // Necklace: Etsy //
Sandals: Office

To avoid going overboard for Ariel's look, I paired a printed purple bralet with a teal skater skirt to symbolise her tail - a bit like what Ariel usually wears whilst swimming, but much less risque. To finish it off, I paired it with gold sandals, some 'by the sea' accessories and a pop of bright red to match Ariel's hair.

Which was your favourite inspired outfit?
